Fourth-Quarter Results

Biogen reported strong fourth-quarter results in early February that were ahead of expectations. Revenue was up 20% to $1.1 billion. Earnings came in at 91 cents per share, 3 cents ahead of the consensus estimate.

This is the fourth time in four quarters that Biogen has surprised and beat estimates, having done so by an average of 5 cents, or 6%.
