We remain optimistic about Energy Conversion Devices' (ENER - Analyst Report) long-term potential success in the high growth alternative energy industry, given increased activity in solar power projects, federal incentives, and extension of the federal ITC.

The company does face ongoing challenges, however, and the company's Q4 2009 earnings results fell short of Zacks' expectations.

Our existing price target of $20.00 reflects a multiple of approximately 28.5x our 2010 earnings estimate. The shares are currently trading at approximately 17.9 our 2010 earnings estimate.

I bought ENER at 12,70 but a minor quantity. I then added it to my people'n'picks portfolio the day after. In fact, ENER is my next AIB strategy move: The more it will go down, the more I will buy. The company is currently valued at a market cap that is inferior to the shareholders' equity, and the balance sheet allows for a few years of 30 million $ loss per quarter, so there is no stress with this. They say they will release some residential product during 2010 and I really think I will order some just to confirm the bullish case. they also have a JV with china to sell panels to china market
they have a berkshire hatthaway company as a customer
tahts right warren buffets company
does that tell you something about the quality
of this company

yes ENER makes solar panels.
