Fund Description
|
American Century Equity Income, Investor Class was incepted in August 1994 and is managed by American Century Investment Management. The objective of the fund is to seek current income. Capital appreciation is a secondary goal. The fund invests in stocks of undervalued companies and holds them until their stock price has increased to, or is higher than, a level the managers believe more accurately reflects the fair value of the company. The fund invests in real estate securities. These securities include share of real estate investment trusts and companies engaged in the real estate industry. The fund offers dividends quarterly and capital gains in December.
