Fund Description
|
The fund was incepted in June 1983 and is managed by Waddell & Reed Investment Management Company (WRIMCO). The goal of the fund is the growth of the investor's investment. The fund seeks to achieve its goal by investing primarily in a diversified portfolio of common stocks of U.S. and foreign companies whose market capitalizations are within the range of capitalizations of companies comprising the Russell Mid-Cap and that WRIMCO believes offer above-average growth potential. Dividends and capital gains, if any, are distributed annually.
