Fund Description

The fund invests primarily in equity securities of science and technology companies worldwide, and under normal circumstances invests at least 80% of net assets in such companies, including those expected to benefit from or apply scientific or technological developments or use them as an agent of change. It may invest in issuers of any size and without limitation in foreign securities, including emerging markets, and is nondiversified. The manager typically emphasizes growth potential, using a largely bottom-up process and multiple factors, and generally holds 35 to 60 stocks. Securities may be sold based on changes in growth potential, valuation, or issuer prospects, or to adjust exposure, pursue other opportunities, meet fair value targets, or raise cash. Trades may be executed by an affiliate, which may also provide quantitative support.
