Dear Subscriber,
Yesterday's rally was fueled in part by the ISM Services Index.
The report was cheered for 2 reasons. First, it signaled expansion for the first time in 11 months. Secondly, in contrast to the ISM manufacturing index (released last week), the services sector not only improved, but also suggested that the employment picture is improving.
Dirk van Dijk provides full analysis of the report in our Analyst Blog.
