Dear Subscribers,
Why was the market down so much on Friday? If you ask 10 investors, then you will get 10 completely different answers…and that means there is no logical answer. Long story short, the market goes up and down on a daily basis with no great rhyme or reason. But as you look out across time it starts to make sense.
The important things to focus on going forward are: The trend is still your friend. Intel's gangbuster earnings tells you more about corporate American profits than Alcoa's. And most economic indicators point to improvement.
