Dear Subscribers,
The market coasted in to a mildly positive finish on Monday. It seemed that no one wanted to over commit in either direction with Alcoa earnings set to kick off earnings after hours. Their report showed 10 cents EPS which matches expectations. Kind of a snooze. However, the bullish parties out there will hang their hat on this statement from the CEO "Our markets are gradually improving". Also on tap this week we have bell weathers such as Intel, JP Morgan, Bank of America, Google and General Electric. So by Friday we will have a pretty good sense of where things are headed this earnings season.
