Dear Subscribers,

Don’t read too much into Tuesday's drop. Some will say it was because of renewed banking fears in Europe. If true, then why were European markets barely in the red??? Some will say that investors didn't take well to President Obama's proposals; $50 billion jobs/infrastructure plan and business capital spending tax break worth up to $200 billion. Instead, I think it was just a little profit taking after a quick 5% gain late last week. Looking ahead the next move for the market is very unclear. That is because the battle rages on between the slow growth camp vs. double dippers. And this week we have very little ammo to settle the score. Wednesday brings the Fed's Beige book and Thursday is Jobless Claims. So I would just stand pat with current portfolio allocations. Then as new info emerges we can decide to get more long or short the market.
