Dear Subscribers,
Monday was a typical holiday week trading session where stocks were modestly higher on very light volume. The only real bit of news for investors to digest was word of China raising their key interest rate another notch higher to keep a lid on inflation. Some investors made a much bigger deal of this early on Monday than was deserved. So by day's end that initial red was erased.
Looking ahead there aren't really any make or break events this week. So expect more of the same kind of action we saw on Monday.
