Dear Subscribers,

The basically breakeven finish on Monday was no surprise. You see, after the rally came back up to the highs at Dow 12,400, investors need a strong reason to press higher. They need to feel that the case for upside on stocks outweighs the negatives still circulating (European debt, Middle East tensions, Excessive US Debt, Raging oil prices, inflation etc). The best form of proof is corporate earnings. So with earnings season just one week away, I would be shocked to see the market move significantly, in either direction, over the next few days.

The best strategy is to load up now on stocks with real potential to beat earnings expectations. And yes, Zacks #1 Ranked stocks are fortified with exactly the right ingredients.
