Golar LNG Limited (USA) (GLNG - Snapshot Report) posted a fourth-quarter profit of 6 cents per share on Mar 1 while analysts projected a loss of 12 cents. Revenues in the fourth quarter decreased to $64.6 million as compared to $70.4 million for the third quarter of 2010 (the "third quarter"). The Zacks Consensus Estimate for 2011 fell 17 cents to a profit of $1.01 per share in the past month.

The full-year average forecast moved down 48 cents to a loss of 8 cents per share in the last 30 days, reflecting cuts by 6 out of 8 analysts. Next year’s forecast fell 15 cents to a profit of $1.10 per share in the same period.
Origin Agritech Ltd.’s (SEED - Snapshot Report) first-quarter loss per share of 14 cents, reported on Feb 22, which missed analysts’ expectations by nearly 27%. The full-year average forecast moved down 6 cents to a profit of 37 cents per share in the last 60 days, reflecting cuts by the covering analysts. Next year’s forecast fell 7 cents to a profit of 42 cents per share in the same period.
