May 08, 2013 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- International Game Technology, a company focusing on driving technology solutions in the gaming industry, announced that the Hopland Sho-Ka-Wa Casino have entered into an agreement for the use of IGT's sbX system solution.
"The ability to evaluate the performance of games on our floor through the use of sbX Analytics tool allows us to offer the best and newest games to our players at a more rapid rate," said Doyle Smotherman, director of gaming operations, Hopland Sho-Ka-Wa Casino. "Delivering the freshest and exciting game themes to our floor gives us a competitive edge in a challenging marketplace."
According to a release, Hopland Sho-Ka-Wa Casino will have access to IGT's game theme library in addition to the analytics and floor management features.
"This is an excellent example of how sbX is being used to differentiate a smaller property in a highly segmented market," said Eric Tom, executive vice president of global sales for IGT. "For Hopland Sho-Ka-Wa, the accumulation of data in real-time will enable them to expedite decisions so they can create an unparalleled gaming experience for their players."
The Hopland Sho-Ka-Wa plans to go live with sbX this spring, the groups noted.
