 Zacks Profit Tracks
RECENT PRICE STRENGTH DETAILS
This Profit Track provides an attractive shorter term trading strategy for those who want a stocks price momentum to be in their favor. Then just to be sure, we also want the fundamentals to be sound as well. The end result is a strategy that proves that the ?trend is your friend``. The key element in this screen is finding stocks currently on the move and that are trading in the upper ranges of their 52-week highs.

Below you will find all the Parameters used in this strategy as well as detailed Performance information.

PARAMETERS
% Price Change Last 12 weeks >= 10%: Whether the broader market is up or down, we?re looking for those stocks that have gone up in price by 10% or more over the last 12 weeks. % Price Change Last 4 weeks >= 0%: Couple this with the last parameter and you will see we are looking for positive price appreciation over both a 4- and 12-week time frame to insure that the price trend is still in place. Remember the ?trend is your friend?. Current Price/52 Week High-Low Range >= 80%: We want stocks that are trading at greater than or equal to 80% of their 52 Week High/Low Range. This is generally considered a sign of break out potential. Zacks Rank <= 2: The first three elements make sure there is favorable price action on the stock. Now we apply the Zacks Rank to find strong fundamentals. Having a #1 or #2 Zacks Rank (Strong Buy or Buy) means that these companies are in the Top 20% of stocks receiving positive earnings estimate revisions for future quarters. What?s so special about the Zacks Rank? Learn more here. Average Broker Rating = 1: This means an unequivocal ?Strong Buy? from the brokerage community. Current Price >= $5

Disclosure:
The S&P 500 Index ("S&P 500") is a well-known, unmanaged index of the prices of 500 large-company common stocks selected by Standard & Poor's. The S&P 500 includes the reinvestment of all dividends, no transaction costs, and represents the gross returns before management fees.

The performance calculations for the Profit Track strategies were produced through the backtesting feature of the Research Wizard using the DBCMHIST database and consist of the total return (price changes + dividends) of an equal weighted portfolio. Returns are calculated on a specified periodic basis (four weeks for all Profit Track strategies except for Growth and Income and High Rank Value, which use a 24-week holding period) and assume no transaction costs. Each strategy is rebalanced at the start of each new period. Returns can be stated as either annualized or compounded. Stock trading/investing involves risk and you can lose some or all of your investment. Hypothetical or backtested results may not always be duplicated in the real world. Backtesting can at times produce an unintended look-ahead bias. Results can also at times be over or understated due to the exclusion of inactive companies. In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk in actual trading, not the least of which is the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading strategy in spite of trading losses. These are material points which can also adversely affect actual trading results. The backtested results prepared for the Profit Track strategies were done using the DBCMHIST database and consisted of only active companies. The Research Wizard program has been aligned, to the extent possible, to eliminate look-ahead bias. Zacks however cannot make any guarantees in regard to this or any other possible limitation.
