BlackRock Energy & Resources A (SSGRX - MF report) seeks capital appreciation on a long term basis. The majority of its assets are invested in small cap companies related to sectors like global energy, natural resources and utilities. Usually the investment is parked in at least three countries. The fund has a three year annualized return of 2.31%.

The BlackRock mutual fund has a minimum initial investment of $1,000 and an expense ratio of 1.33% compared to a category average of 1.56%.

BlackRock Managed Volatility A (PCBAX - MF report) invests in bonds, stocks and money market instruments. Within equity, investments can be made in ETFs, mutual funds and individual stocks.
