Navistar International Corporation (NAV - Analyst Report) expanded its product line with the launch of heavy-duty vocational truck, International WorkStar. The truck is equipped with Navistar’s 13-liter engine with Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) emissions technology. This is the fourth heavy-duty International truck model to have been converted to SCR technology since Dec 2012.

The truck is available in two variations, 7600 SBA (46" set-back axle) and 7600 SFA (30" set-forward axle). Featuring 113" BBC (bumper to back-of-cab), the trucks are suitable for carrying heaviest of loads.

Navistar offers a wide range of heavy-duty trucks with SCR technology. They include International ProStar, International PayStar 5900 Set-Back Axle and International 9900i, which features Cummins Inc.’s (CMI - Analyst Report)) ISX15 engine.

Navistar’s 13-liter engine with SCR technology has also featured in ProStar, which was launched in April. The company intends to launch more heavy-duty trucks with SCR emissions technology in the near future.

Warrenville, Ill-based Navistar manufactures and sells commercial trucks, mid-range diesel engines, buses, military vehicles and chassis for motor homes and step-vans. It also provides service parts for various trucks and trailers. Currently, the company carries a Zacks Rank #4 (Sell).
