The company announced that The Marketing Arm – a part of Omnicom’s subsidiary Diversified Agency Services (DAS) – won 15 Pro Awards at the 2013 gala event at the Helen Mills Theater in New York City.
The Marketing Arm won 6 Gold, 7 Silver, and 2 Bronze Pro Awards across 13 categories for 11 different clients and brands. It was also awarded the title of “MVPro” that is conferred to the agency with the most wins for multiple brands.
Some of the categories in which the company received awards were "Best Idea or Concept," "Best Multidiscipline Promotion," "Best Use of a Promotion Outside the U.S.," "Best Web-Based Promotion," "Best Cross-Platform Using Interactive Channels," "Best Multicultural Promotion," "Best Sponsorship Promotion," "Best Use of Social Marketing," "Best Use of Public Relations" and "Best Use of Video."
Omnicom had won laurels at the Spikes Asia festival as well. Its agencies, BBDO and DDB were among the top three networks for five consecutive years, thus clearly displaying Omnicom’s creative excellence. BBDO has a record of winning nine Golds and a Creative Effectiveness award for its campaign on Tourism – "It's More Fun in the Philippines."
These awards are expected to boost the image of Omnicom and drive it to deliver even better performances.
