Williams-Sonoma, Inc. (WSM - Analyst Report) recently announced the opening of the first West Elm retail store in Oklahoma City, OK. Located in the Triangle at Classen Curve shopping center, the store will offer a local assortment of art, leather goods, vases and stationery, especially designed by Oklahoma-based artisans.
West Elm is one of the iconic brands of home furnishings from Williams-Sonoma. The brand offers personalized products designed by the company’s team of artists and designers. The company offers West Elm branded furniture, bedding, bathroom accessories, rugs, curtains, lighting, decorative accessories, dinnerware, kitchen essentials and gifts.
The Oklahoma City store will debut with the fall 2014 collection. The collection includes exclusive designs for lighting, new collaborations and handcrafted products from Haiti, India, Peru and the Philippines.
Williams-Sonoma has been consistently adding new stores in order to drive sales. Last month, the company introduced its first Pottery Barn and Pottery Barn Kids stores in Southeast Asia. These stores are located at Central Square, Bonifacio High Street, Manila, Philippines.
Later this year, Williams-Sonoma intends to open eight new stores in Australia and new West Elm stores in UK. The company also intends to launch Pottery Barn and Pottery Barn Kids fully-integrated websites in UK.
