NCC Jumps on Sale Talks

Shares of National City Corp (NCC) are up almost 11% Thursday after the Wall Street Journal reported that the company is in negotiation with many banks about a possible sale.

According to the Journal, citing anonymous sources, PNC Financial Services Group Inc. (PNC) and the Bank of Nova Scotia (BNS) are among the likely bidders.
