Micromet Now on Russell 3000

Micromet (MITI - Analyst Report) has been added to the Russell 3000 Index as part of the annual reconstitution of the Russell indexes, which occurred on June 26, 2009.

Russell indexes are widely used by investment managers and institutional investors for index funds and as benchmarks for both passive and active investment strategies. The Russell 3000 also serves as the U.S. component to the Russell Global Index, which Russell launched in 2007.

We view the news as positive given the greater visibility as a result of the inclusion to the index. We believe several expected milestones in the next 6 months represent potential share price catalysts and maintain our Buy recommendation at current levels.
