AAR Corporation (AIR - Free Report) announced that it has acquired SPACEMAX’s product line of mobile shelters. These mobile shelters are high-tech, hard-wall and highly deployable, and can be used in commercial, military and humanitarian operations.
AAR Corp. offers a wide range of encampment solutions – AAR Mobility Systems – that are customizable to suit mission demands. With the addition of SPACEMAX shelters, the company will be able to add significant value to its AAR Mobility Systems. Note that SPACEMAX is well known for its plug-and-play shelters that are also lightweight, and easy to carry and assemble.
AAR Corp. will integrate SPACEMAX’s designs and technology in its Mobility Systems' temporary housing units, kitchens, water purification units and laundry units.
The AAR Mobility System has been manufacturing rapid deployment equipment to support military and disaster-relief operations for over 40 years now.
In March, AAR Corp.’s Mobility Systems unit won a contract from the U.S. Army to supply automatic test equipment and storage shelters for its Next Generation Automatic Test System (“NGATS”).
