Many of the company's domestic auto parts stores also has a commercial sales program, which provides commercial credit and prompt delivery of parts and other products to local repair garages, dealers and service stations.

AutoZone is expected to report earnings at $14.31 per share according to the Zacks Consensus Estimate. Last quarter they reported earnings at $10.77 per share, and they missed the Zack’s Consensus Estimate by $0.19 per share.

AutoZone is trading around $742.42 a share.

The Retail-Auto Parts industry is in the Top 39% of the Zacks Industry Rank. On the plus side there will alwasy be a demand for auto parts and accessories. Furthermore, AutoZone has done a good job providing information and advice to consumers who are willing to work on their own automobile.  

That said, AutoZone is in a very competitive sector including major competitors such as O’Reilly (ORLY - Free Report) and Advance Auto Parts (AAP - Free Report) . Therefore, investors need to keep in mind AutoZone is in a competitive sector moving forward.
