The Best Earnings Charts on the Street

Read MoreHide Full Article

Hundreds of companies will be reporting earnings this week. Tracey digs through them all to pick out the hidden, and not so hidden, gems.

This week's best earnings charts include companies who have perfect earnings surprise track records.

Despite what you might think, it’s not easy for companies to beat every quarter for years on end. Only a couple dozen companies are able to do it.

Here are three doing it this week:

1.    Visa (V - Free Report) has one of the best charts on Wall Street. It’s a thing of beauty.

2.    Under Armour (UA - Free Report) has a perfect earnings surprise record over the last 5 years but shares peaked in 2015 and have been weak since. Will this trend continue?

3.    Spirit Airlines (SAVE - Free Report) makes it look easy. But this low-cost airline ran into turbulence in 2015 when it had to cut capacity. Shares sank.

All three of these companies should be on your short list if you’re trading the earnings report.

What else should you know about these earnings charts? Tune into the short video to find out.
