Earnings season is winding down but the retailers are still stepping up to the plate. 

It’s been a difficult period for the retailers but some have defied the odds and have terrific earnings surprise track records. 

Tracey dug through all of the charts to find only the best this week.

It’s not easy to beat the Zacks Consensus Estimate nearly every quarter for years. Only a couple dozen companies are doing it. 

And to be in the retail group and still do it, is even more impressive.

But here are three companies with great track records reporting earnings this week:

1.    American Eagle Outfitters, Inc. (AEO Quick QuoteAEO - Free Report) is in the toughest area of retail which is teen and young adult apparel and accessories. But despite the challenging environment, AEO has beat the estimate every quarter for 5 years. Can it do it again?

2.    PVH (PVH Quick QuotePVH - Free Report) has missed just twice in the last 5 years but it’s in the tough department store apparel game. 

3.    Kroger (KR Quick QuoteKR - Free Report) has an amazing track record. It hasn’t missed in 5 years. But is the run in supermarket stocks over?

All three of these companies should be on your short list if you’re trading the earnings report.
