Federated Capital Income A (CAPAX) was incepted in May 1988. The fund seeks to achieve current income and long term growth of income. The fund invests in equity and fixed income securities that have high relative income potential.
Federated Institutional High Yield Bond and Federated Emerging Markets FI Inc constitute more than 51% of the fund’s holdings.
The fund declares and pays dividends monthly to shareholders. Capital gains, if any, are distributed annually.
Federated Equity Income A (LEIFX) seeks to provide above average income and capital appreciation by investing primarily in income-producing equity securities.
The fund ordinarily selects securities that have a comparatively low volatility in share price relative to the overall equity market and which may provide relatively high dividend income. As of May 2009, its portfolio turnover was 144%.
The fund offers dividends monthly and capital gains annually.
