ManpowerGroup Collaborates with Rockwell to Train Veterans

Leading staffing company, ManpowerGroup Inc. (MAN - Free Report) recently collaborated with Rockwell Automation Inc. (ROK - Free Report) to train 1,000 military veterans for advanced manufacturing jobs.

Both the companies will work closely together, utilizing existing programs to train veterans in advanced digital manufacturing jobs and other higher-tech roles in the industry. Per a survey conducted by ManpowerGroup, most U.S. employers anticipate that at a higher skill level automation will increase the headcount.

The program expands Rockwell's existing Engineer-in-Training program, which combines classroom learning with hands-on laboratory experience. This is part of ManpowerGroup's MyPath program which focuses on narrowing the skill gap by building talent and skills clients need while offering guidance and access to jobs that improve employability.

Incorporating the expertise and experience of the world's largest staffing company with the world leading innovative workforce solutions, the companies have developed a groundbreaking program that will augment growth of the manufacturing sector.

ManpowerGroup has outperformed the Zacks categorized Staffing Firms industry with an average return of 4.1% in the last three months against a decline of 1.2% for the latter.
