On today’s episode of the Tech Talk Tuesday podcast, Ryan McQueeney discusses Uber’s decision to offer its vacant CEO role to longtime Expedia (EXPE - Free Report) chief executive Dara Khosrowshahi.

Uber’s new CEO will take over at a pivotal moment for the riding hailing giant, as the fallout from the company’s internal investigation into widespread claims of sexual harassment and misconduct still looms. And with a major early investor currently suing former CEO Travis Kalanick, Uber also has a pending legal headache.

Khosrowshahi brings with him more than a decade at the helm of Expedia, which includes experience with several major M&A moves and strategic divestures. However, addressing Uber’s current problems will, without a doubt, be the toughest challenge of Khosrowshahi’s career (also read: Uber Picks Dara Khosrowshahi: A Look At Expedia's Performance Under Its CEO).

Make sure to tune in to today’s episode to hear more about Khosrowshahi’s experience and how he might work to repair Uber’s reputation!
