The fund invests primarily in equity securities of healthcare companies. The fund is suitable for those investors who seek long-term growth of capital and a fund with the potential for higher return while being able to tolerate substantial volatility over time.
The fund offers dividends and capital gains, if any, annually. It has an expense ratio of 1.84%.

Rydex Biotechnology Inv (RYOIX) was incepted in April 1998. The fund seeks capital appreciation by investing in companies that are involved in the biotechnology industry, including companies involved in research and development, genetic or other biological engineering, and in the design, manufacture, or sale of related biotechnology products or services.
The fund invests substantially all of its assets in equity securities of biotechnology companies that are traded in the United States. The fund may also engage in futures and options transactions, purchase ADRs and U.S. government securities, and enter into repurchase agreements.
