Ford raked in adjusted earnings of 43 cents per share that beat the Zacks Consensus Estimate of 33 cents. Adjusted earnings were up by 17 cents from the year-ago quarter figure.

Revenues

Ford logged automotive revenues of $33.6 billion, surpassing the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $32.9 billion. Automotive revenues in the prior year-ago quarter were $33.3 billion.

Key Stats/Developments to Note

Automotive profits during the quarter were driven by North America and a record pre-tax profit in the Asia-Pacific region.

The company expects 2017 adjusted EPS to be in the range of $1.75–$1.85, up from the prior guidance of $1.65–$1.85.
