DCT Industrial (DCT) Surges: Stock Moves 11.6% Higher

DCT Industrial Trust Inc. was a big mover last session, as the company saw its shares rise nearly 12% on the day. The move came on solid volume too with far more shares changing hands than in a normal session. The stock picked up sharply from the near-flat trend of $55.01 to $58.75 in the past one month time frame.

The upside was driven by the news of a potential buyout of the real estate company by Prologis Inc.

The company has seen estimate revision of just one increase and no decrease over the past few weeks, while the Zacks Consensus Estimate for the current quarter remained unchanged. The recent price action is encouraging though, so make sure to keep a close watch on this firm in the near future.
