Ryan and Brian were interested in jumping directly into the market’s top stories of the past week, and the pair started with the latest from Tesla.

Tesla shares were down this morning after reports suggested the electric car giant had asked suppliers for partial refunds as the company looks to turn a profit. The original story from The Wall Street Journal mentioned that Tesla requested a “meaningful” amount of payments made since 2016 to be refunded and that all suppliers had been asked to help.

Brian has been a supporter of Tesla’s revenue growth and Elon Musk’s overall vision in the past, so the strategist helped bullish investors digest the news.

Ryan and Brian also checked in with Amazon, which faced its own series of headaches on Monday morning after President Donald Trump targeted the e-commerce company in a number of tweets criticizing its use of the U.S. Postal Services and CEO Jeff Bezos’ ownership of the Washington Post.

Also in the news recently was Skechers’ disappointing quarter. The shoe company saw nearly 25% of its value wiped away in the wake of the its earnings announcement last week, so Ryan and Brian recapped that news to sniff out any hopes of a rebound.

Finally, the pair discussed Dropbox, a popular recent IPO stock which has had an interesting first few months on the market. Make sure to check out the show to hear more!
