Sprint Secure Mobile VPN Now Available to Business Customers

Sprint Corporation (S - Free Report) recently announced that Sprint Secure Mobile VPN is now available to its business customers. Powered by Columbitech, the solution creates a virtual private network connection with mobile devices that stays connected across different types IP networks including LAN, Wi-Fi, satellite, 4G and LTE. Stockholm, Sweden-based Columbitech provides wireless security to secure mobile devices with support for WLAN and public networks including 4G and WiMAX.

Sprint Secure Mobile VPN enables roaming between network connections. The solution simplifies VPN connections by automatically signing into VPN when the device is unlocked, and secures data sessions with end-to-end encryption and two-factor authentication. It is a powerful IT tool for businesses built to boost productivity and overall corporate performance, and allows employees to conduct their daily transactions in a trusted network.

The solution is compatible with iOS, Android, Windows and Linux operating systems as well as embedded operating systems used for Internet of Things solutions across various industries. It helps to ensure regulatory compliance with the cryptographic guidelines and authentication requirements enforced by industry regulators.

In a separate development, Sprint licensed its National Consumer Database, Super Identity Graph and Business Database solutions. To that end, the company engaged Audience Acuity’s professional services team to integrate data products into its marketing and operational infrastructure. Notably, Sprint selected Audience Acuity as its enterprise data provider due to the latter’s experience in implementing enterprise-wide solutions.

Audience Acuity’s National Consumer Database and Super Identity Graph contains more than 260 million adults and above 500 million digital identities. Together, they will drive new customer acquisition in targeted geographic areas. Audience Acuity will help Sprint to manage consumer engagement across devices, websites, call centers and store fronts.

In the past three months, shares of Sprint have gained 20.9% compared with the industry’s growth of 7.9%.

Windstream surpassed earnings estimates twice in the trailing four quarters with an average positive surprise of 23.5%.
