Oracle (ORCL - Free Report) made notable announcements at National Retail Federation (“NRF”) 2019. Oracle Retail announced collaboration with One Door in a bid to enhance retail clientele’s in-store merchandising methods with advanced assortment and layout techniques.

Per Gartner as revealed by Oracle, retailers will utilize AI to automate and enhance business processes. In fact, the research firm predicts that the use of advanced personalization engines (utilized to be familiar with evolving customer tastes) is anticipated to drive profit levels of digital businesses by up to 15% by 2020.

The increased spending by retailers on digitally transforming their business processes favors the prospects of the latest collaboration.

In fact, SkillNet, an Oracle PartnerNetwork Platinum partner, has enabled Grupo Nazan to deploy Oracle Retail Xstore services.

Oracle Retail is witnessing traction in the U.K. as well with Matalan adopting digital solutions to optimize inventory assortments according to consumer preferences.

The selection of Oracle Retail’s Assortment Planning and Merchandise Financial Planning cloud services by Matalan is a positive.

Moreover, Oracle Marketing Cloud is already enabling Matalan to address higher traffic levels across both online and in-store sales channels with robust data-driven capabilities.

This incremental adoption of Oracle’s services is anticipated to aid financial performance of the company in the foreseeable future.
