SAP Expands Analytics Offerings on SAP Cloud-Based Platform

SAP SE (SAP - Free Report) recently announced that it is expanding new solutions on SAP Analytics Cloud Platform to handle business processes along with offering augmented analytics, cloud-computing, machine-learning, enterprise planning workflows and data-analysis services.

The announcement was made at the Gartner Data & Analytics Summit, which was held between Mar 1 and Mar 21, in Orlando, FL. The new offerings will help in creating best-in-class systems, scalable digital platforms and productivity systems.

This move of SAP will augment artificial intelligence (AI) accessibility across companies. This will also aid the companies in application of the meaningful data insights generated structurally to transform business. The clients will also benefit from the new platform’s data security feature.

According to Gerrit Kazmaier, senior vice president, SAP HANA and Analytics. "With SAP Analytics Cloud, our focus is continuous innovation in a unified solution that is intuitive, powerful and designed for the business user."

Notably, powered by augmented analytics, the SAP Cloud Platform enables users to add Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data, Machine Learning, Analytics and artificial intelligence capabilitiesto their business workflow. The solution has been witnessing traction of late.

SAP Cloud Platform is now offering three integrated services based on comprehensive Kubernetes, Knative and Kubeless platform designed for multi-cloud deployments. These services enable customers to deploy and administer applications and clusters across the cloud platforms in real time.

SAP’s new class of solutions that power the next generation of business applications – SAP HANA (High-Performance Analytic Appliance) – has been driving growth since its inception.
