• Boeing (NYSE:BA) reported second quarter earnings of $1.06, 6 cents above Zacks estimates, on revenues of $15.57 billion, down 9.2% from last year and below estimates of $16.10 billion
• Coca-Cola Enterprises (NYSE:CCE) reported second quarter earnings of 79 cents, beating estimates by 10 cents, on a 0.4% revenue drop from a year earlier to $5.88 billion, which was below Zacks estimates of $5.93 billion
• General Dynamics (NYSE:GD) posted second quarter earnings 7 cents better than expected on flat revenues of $8.1 billion, which missed estimates of $8.33 billion.
• ArcelorMittal (NYSE:MT) beat estimates with earnings of 75 cents, up from estimates of 71 cents on revenues of $21.65 billion, up from $15.18 billion a year ago
• Comcast (NASDAQ:CMCSA) reported second quarter results of 33 cents, beating Zacks estimate by a penny on revenues of $9.52 billion, up from Zacks estimates of $9.27 billion
• Corning (NYSE:GLW) reported second quarter earnings of 58 cents, versus Zacks estimates of 53 cents, on a 22.7% revenue jump to $1.71 billion, up from estimates of $1.65 billion.
• Aetna (NYSE:AET) reported earnings for the second quarter of $1.05 ex-items that topped Zacks projections of 73 cents on revenues of $8.54 billion, ahead of Zacks estimates at $8.42 billion. The firm lifted its full-year earnings outlook to $3.05-$3.15 from earlier guidance of $2.75-$2.85
