Linguist Service Contract for CACI

CACI International Inc. (CACI - Analyst Report) recently announced that it has won a prime position at the Defense Language Interpretation Translation Enterprise (DLITE).

The contracts awarded are worth approximately $9.7 billion to provide support solutions to the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) for a performance period of five years.

CACI has been previously providing non-personal services such as equipment, supplies, transportation, materials etc. With this additional agreement, the company shall cater to the language translation and interpretation services to the U.S. Army.

The continued trust the U.S. Army puts in CACI’s performance is clear from the awarding of these contracts. The Department of Defense assures a long-term relationship with the company by contracting for language translation and analysis services for the U.S. Army which is of crucial importance to its forces at every level.

Very recently, CACI International received a task order of around $22 million from the U.S. Special Operations Forces (SOF). This was a five-year period contract and would cater to providing modeling and simulation data services under the Global Battlestaff and Program Support (GBSP) prime contract.

Such progressive moves shall inevitably place the company in a formidable position to battle existing competitive forces prevalent in the industry from big players such as Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC - Analyst Report), ManTech International Corporation (MANT - Snapshot Report) and SAIC, Inc.
