Wells Fargo Advantage Special Small Cap Value A (ESPAX - MF report) seeks long term capital growth. The fund invests a large share of its assets in small cap equity securities. The firms invested in must have market capitalizations similar to those included in the Russell 2000 Index. The fund has a three year annualized return of 10.74%.

James Tringas is the fund manager and he has managed this Wells Fargo mutual fund since 2002.

Wells Fargo Advantage Opportunity A (SOPVX - MF report) invests the majority of its assets in equity securities. A maximum of 25% of its assets are utilized to purchase foreign equity securities. The fund focuses on investing in companies whose market capitalizations are similar to those included in the Russell Midcap Index. The fund has a three year annualized return of 9.49%.
