Graco Inc. (GGG - Snapshot Report) recently launched its new E-Flo DC (Dual Control) line of high performance industrial pumps for paint finishing applications. The E-Flo DC pump include Basic and Advanced models. The Basic model offers local control of the pump with flexible pump settings. The Advanced Model provides additional control of pump performance by managing several pumps from a single source.

The new E-Flo DC is equipped with combined features of pneumatic and electric circulation pumps and can operate in two different ways with constant pressure rate like a pneumatic motor or constant flow rate like an electric driven motor.

These industrial pumps are five times more efficient than similar pumps available in the market with the advantages of a more efficient electric motor, which reduces the electric bills for the user, delivers higher energy efficiency and drives down the overall cost of operation. Additionally, the runaway protection helps in automatic operation of the pump with immediate switching off when there is no supply of material, thereby preventing expensive loss of materials.

The E-Flo DC pumps are easy to install and emit less noise. These pumps offer a lucrative opportunity for a replacement pump for customers who are looking to upgrade their existing paint circulation systems. Moving forward, Graco expects to continuously invest in its businesses to diversify and expand its product ranges to augment its position in the market.

Headquartered in Minneapolis, Minn, Graco supplies technology for management of fluids in both industrial and commercial applications. The company designs, manufactures, and markets systems that move, measure, control, dispense, and apply fluid materials. The company’s key growth drivers include development and marketing of new products, expansion of the global distribution network, foraying into new markets with technology and channel expansion.

However, the company faces intense competition from industry bigwigs, which include formidable names such as Altra Holdings, Inc (AIMC - Snapshot Report) and EnPro Industries, Inc (NPO - Snapshot Report). Graco currently has a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy). One of its competitors, The Babcock & Wilcox Company (BWC - Snapshot Report) carries a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy).
