Balchem Corporation is engaged in the development, manufacture and marketing of specialty performance ingredients for the food, feed and medical sterilization industries.  They operate in two business segments, the micro-encapsulation of performance ingredients and the repackaging and marketing of high quality  specialty gases.  They sell their products through their own sales force, independent distributors and sales agents.
