Fund Description

The fund invests, under normal market conditions, at least 80% of its net assets in common stocks of companies with market capitalizations at purchase of up to $3.0 billion, or up to the market capitalization of the largest company in the Russell 2000 Index measured at the end of the previous twelve months. The adviser invests in domestic growth-oriented small companies it believes exhibit the potential for superior growth, emphasizing earnings growth and assessing prospects for above-average long-term earnings and revenue growth. It considers factors such as unique products or services, growing demand, market share, management capabilities, and financial strength, and may sell based on fundamentals and anticipated earnings. The fund may also invest in open-end and closed-end investment companies investing in similar securities.
