Fund Description

The fund invests worldwide in a diversified mix of debt and equity securities, normally allocating at least 25% to fixed income and at least 25% to equities, with at least 40% of net assets in non-U.S. investments across at least three countries. It seeks income through government, agency and corporate bonds and other debt (including inflation-indexed and high-yield) from numerous countries, including developing markets, and through dividend-oriented stocks; it seeks capital appreciation primarily via common stock globally and may hold significant sector exposures at times. It regularly uses currency-related derivatives and also regularly enters into other derivatives transactions such as interest rate and bond futures and swap agreements, and it may also use equity-related derivatives. It invests up to 20% in equity-linked notes and uses a managed distribution policy targeting twelve equal monthly payments per share, with periodic adjustments.
