Twin US Army Contracts for CACI

CACI International Inc (CACI - Free Report) recently secured two primary contracts worth $237 million from the U.S. Army to support U.S. Joint Military Forces’ Tactical Information Network Worldwide.

CACI will offer extensive training to the US forces and will ensure that the deployed forces’ satellite communications remain highly reliable during critical missions. There are about 1,000 deployed terminals in this network and they provide consistent communications within regional commands as well as provide inter-theatre communications capabilities to other countries in several continents.

CACI has a large pipeline of new projects and continues to win deals at regular intervals. The contract wins are vital catalysts that are likely to augment the company’s revenues. The current contract is one of the largest programs in the command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (C4ISR) markets and Logistics and Material Readiness areas.

The contract further broadens the company’s support in high-volume market area and positions it as a first-line solutions and service provider for the U.S. Armed Forces. In addition, with the U.S. government as one of the company’s biggest clients, there is a relative stability to the business with a steady revenue stream.

Based in Arlington, Va., CACI delivers IT applications and infrastructure to improve communications and secure the integrity of information systems and networks, enhance data collection and analysis, and increase efficiency and mission effectiveness.
