•    Shares of ANI Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ:ANIP) jumped nearly 30% after the company said it had purchased thirty-one non- specific drugs manufactured by Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (NYSE:TEVA)

•    The Boeing Company (NYSE:BA) has obtained two contracts from the Department of Defense, together worth $661 million. The biggest of the two contracts was an order worth $617.7 million to build six CH-47F Chinook helicopters and remanufacture an additional 22 for the U.S. Army

•    Hong Kong’s Cathay Pacific Airways stated on Friday that it has placed an order of $1 billion with The Boeing Company. Cathay Pacific will purchase a 747-8 Freighter as well as three 777-300ER airplanes

•    A panel of arbitration has ordered the brokerage unit of Wells Fargo & Co (NYSE:WFC) to withdraw nearly $94 million of auction-rate securities from investors via a buyback option
