On Wednesday, e-commerce giant Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN - Free Report) announced its newest perk for its Prime members, dubbed Prime Reading. Now, Prime subscribers are able to read as much as they want to from a broad selection of top Kindle books, magazines, comic books, short stories, and children’s books, among others, for no additional cost.

Before Prime Reading, bookworms had limited options through their Prime membership, including borrowing one eBook for free each month and the ability to access new novels early; users could also pay an additional $10 per month for the Kindle Unlimited service, an all-you-can-read subscription.

“This is a new and exciting way for our premium brands to reach and engage with Amazon’s Prime members,” said Monica Ray, Executive Vice President of Consumer Marketing at Condé Nast. “Prime readers can now keep up with all the latest news, trends, tips and so much more with the rotating selection of our magazine brands.”

Readers can now enjoy best-selling novels like The Hobbit, The Man in the High Castle, and Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone; comics like The Complete Peanuts Vol. 1 and Transformers; and magazines such as Bon Appétit, National Geographic Traveler, People, and Sports Illustrated. These popular titles are just the tip of the iceberg, too.

Prime Reading users do not need a Kindle device, either—just download the free Kindle apps for iOS and Android to start reading.
