Helen of Troy Unveils New Compact AirGenius 4 Air Cleaner

Helen of Troy’s (HELE - Free Report) wholly owned subsidiary, Kaz Inc., has unveiled its new Honeywell Compact AirGenius 4 air cleaner. The cleaner assists in purifying rooms from of airborne impurities which range from outdoor allergens like mold spores and pollen, to indoor contaminants such as dust, smoke and pet dander.

The air purifier has the capacity to clean rooms having an area of up to 150 sq. ft. and can remove almost 99.9% of airborne pollutants. Apart from expelling pollutants as small as 0.3 microns, the air cleaner can also capture odors, fumes emanating from household cleaners, paint, new flooring products, etc from the rooms.

Honeywell Compact AirGenius 4 air purifiers circulate the room air five times per hour and are ideal for bedrooms, offices, or smaller living spaces. The room purifiers feature four different settings – Sleep, General, Allergen and Max. The purifier adjusts itself according to these settings and draws particles in at the right level in order to optimize the filter's performance.

The AirGenius 4 air purifiers feature patented ifD technology and comes with a filter which is extremely quiet and easily washable.

Helen of Troy acquired Kaz in Dec 2010. Kaz markets its products to leading retailers under a variety of brand names, including Vicks and Braun, under license from The Procter & Gamble Company (PG - Free Report) , Honeywell under license from Honeywell International Inc. (HON - Free Report) .
