BlackBerry Partners Fujisoft & Hitachi to Expand VAI Program

BlackBerry Limited (BB - Free Report) recently announced partnership with Fujisoft Incorporated and Hitachi Industry & Control Solutions, Ltd. to expand the embedded software design and delivery.

The companies have joined BlackBerry’s previously announced Value-Added Integrator (VAI) program, aimed at developing a global network of experts skilled on BlackBerry QNX and Certicom technologies.

The VAI program enables partners to deliver integration services and build upon BlackBerry's embedded technologies to design and develop secure, mission-critical solutions, thereby augmenting the product’s time to market.

The VAI partners render support to technologies and services such as BlackBerry's QNX Neutrino Realtime OS, QNX Momentics Tool Suite, QNX Hypervisor, QNX SDK for Apps & Media and QNX Wireless Framework.

The VAI program will help Fujisoft strengthen its technical cooperation with BlackBerry QNX. While the highly-regarded BlackBerry QNX platform will enable Hitachi to contribute to customers' development and business expansion.

Some of the other partners enrolling in the VAI program are Archermind Technology, Mcloudware, Micon Global and Mission Embedded.
