The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc. (HIG) was founded in 1810 and is recognized as a renowned insurance company in the United States. Hartford Municipal Real Return A  primarily invests in tax-exempt obligations issued by states, territories, and possessions of the United States, and their political subdivisions, agencies and instrumentalities. A large portion of the tax-exempt obligations bought by the fund will be of “investment grade” quality. HTNAX seeks to offer income free from federal income tax. Hartford Municipal Real Return A has one-year annualized returns of 2%.

Hartford Small Company HLS Fund IA (HIASX - Free Report) primarily invests its assets in common stocks issued by small-capitalization companies. The fund may also invest almost one-fifth of its assets in securities of non-U.S. issuers. Small-capitalization companies are those whose market capitalization falls within the collective range of the Russell 2000 and S&P SmallCap 600 indices. HIASX seeks appreciation of capital.
