Alphabet (GOOGL) Stock Sinks As Market Gains: What You Should Know

In the latest trading session, Alphabet (GOOGL - Free Report) closed at $1,231.80, marking a -1.84% move from the previous day. This change lagged the S&P 500's 0.01% gain on the day. At the same time, the Dow lost 0.09%, and the tech-heavy Nasdaq gained 0.26%.
