AMD (AMD - Free Report) shares were surging again in morning trading Thursday after the popular chipmaker witnessed another positive analyst note, with FBN Securities initiating coverage on the stock with an outperform rating and a price target of $40. This call would represent a 24% climb from AMD’s Wednesday close.

Elsewhere, AT&T (T - Free Report) head Randall Stephenson started a small war of words with Netflix (NFLX - Free Report) , jabbing the video streaming service while commenting at the Communacopia conference. Among other things, Stephenson called HBO “the Tiffany” of the sector and compared Netflix to Walmart.

Other companies making headlines Thursday morning include Etsy (ETSY - Free Report) , which announced that it would not be refilling its chief operating officer role after the current holder resigns, and Tailored Brands , the Men’s Wearhouse owner seeing sizeable morning gains after notching comps growth across all of its brands.

On this first half of today’s show, Ryan recaps all of these stories and provides viewers with his own perspective on the news.

Later, the host reviews Apple’s (AAPL - Free Report) annual iPhone reveal event. Apple switched up the way it approaches “S years” by not only announcing updates to the iPhone X, but also revealing a more affordable model with many of the same features.

Apple also made some history with the announcement of the iPhone XS Max, which will feature the largest display ever seen on an iPhone.

On top of these iPhones, Apple continued to double down on the Watch as a personal health wearable, as its Watch Series 4 device includes even better heart rate monitoring and new fitness functionalities.

Make sure to check out the show as Ryan highlights each of these new products and speculates as to how they will fit into Apple’s budding product ecosystem!
