Pinnacle West Capital Corporation (PNW - Free Report) reported adjusted earnings per share of $2.80 in the third quarter of 2018, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $2.75 by 1.8%. In the year-ago quarter, the company had reported adjusted earnings of $2.46. Long-term debt as of Sep 30, 2018 was $4,487.4 million, down from $4,789.7 million as of Dec 31, 2017.

Net cash flow from operating activities was $959.7 million in the first nine months of 2018 higher than $771.9 million in the prior year comparable period.

Guidance

Pinnacle West reaffirmed 2018 earnings guidance in the range of $4.35-$4.55 per share. The company expects 2019 earnings guidance in the range of $4.75-$4.95 per share.
